My Journey
I was born in Malaysia, but left at the age of ten and spent much of my youth in Singapore, Hong Kong, India, and Australia. Constantly moving forced me to adapt, and each culture became a part of who I am. At 11, I picked up the drums, and music quickly became the one constant that tied everything together. It was also the way I learned to overcome my speech impediment.
My influences reach far beyond any single place. They’re shaped by the sounds and styles I absorbed in different cities and through my travels across Southeast Asia — each leaving its own imprint on me. Music is where all those experiences come together. It’s how I found my voice, and how I continue to express it.
